Hello, I have a 26 inch Westinghouse tv with tinny sound. I bought a pair of Logitech computer speakers but when I plug them into the headphone jack of the tv, nothing changes. I couldn't find anywhere on the tv settings to change the audio source. Do I need a different cable? I saw a video where the speakers were hooked up with an RCA cable that had a male adapter for the headphone jack, but I can't find one of those anywhere to purchase. What am I doing wrong? Thanks,

Ok so I got the jack. Still nothing. I plugged them in everywhere I could. Turned speakers on the tv to OFF. Nothing. If I plug into the headset jack and turn speakers off I hear buzzing like feedback. So far that's the only sound I've heard.

Yes I will do that. I also found the user manual online (not much help) but it does have a picture of the back and what the jacks are for, I'll send that, too.

An update, this morning I hooked up the speakers to my laptop (just to be sure they work) and they do. Then I connected the laptop to the tv via vga, and the speakers work great if I'm watching a DVD or Netflix on the tv through the computer. But still no sound out of the speakers via the tv itself.
