My system is:Corsair CX430
Asus P877 LX motherboard atx
i5 3570K running at stock
8GB mushkin 1600 RAM
GTX 660 superclocked
1 X SSD
1 X 500GB 7200 HDD
1 X green 2TB
1 X optical drive
Cooler master 330 elite
2 X 120mm fans inlet and exhaust
2 X 80mm on side panel inlet.

My wife says she can smell a coppery smell.
Do you think the case and PSU are fine?
The PSU is brand new and don't really want to buy another one I did read forums first before buying and I had a general feel it is ok but after checking again I could be better off with a 500W.

More about : psu case

The CX430 will run that setup but it's cutting it close, but I would bump it up a little.

The XFX unit is made by the best in the business Seasonic.

Thats your power supply... just because they're rated for xxx watts max output, doesnt mean they can continually do that without burning up.

i have a similar build with an OCZ mod X stream 600 i got for $40 after rebate on newegg. no issues.

I might pull the CX430 out and go with a CX500W, it was intentionally for an itx build with discrete graphics. Decided to go with a full build, I don't want to relpace the case and the PSU, and the case is the ideal size for me.

Yes cheers just brought me a CX500M and feel a bit more happier of filling the expansion slots and adding more drives.
