Okay, so I got my Galaxy GTX 760 (2GB) today, it is identical to the reference design by Nvidia (Other manufacturers cards where priced anywhere between 35$ - 70$ higher) .I am yet to get my other components. So I tested it on my friends rig, he has got an old DG41RQ motherboard which has a pci-e 2.x slot . (He has hd 6950, corsair cx 600 for psu and q8400 for a processor). When I tested farcry 3 and crysis 3 it certainly had bottlenecks due to his computer config . Farcry 3 on ultra ran 28 - 31 fps at 1080p (expected is >40 fps), Crysis 3 was a different story (ranging from 20 to 40 fps) . But here comes my question, he had a dated version of this MSI afterburner software, when I ran it, it showed my product as GTX 760, but the core clock as 540 Mhz, and memory speed as 3000 Mhz (The acutal numbers should be 980 Mhz and 6000 Mhz). Is this because of the motherboard or is there something wrong with the MSI afterburner (it may be a dated version) software. I am kinda worried, getting other components for my build this saturday

I am also from India, mine is ZOTAC one and temp is absolutely like your card, though nothing to worry about, I planning to get a good cabinet with lots of fan. And price of GPU really hurts us.

Oh yeah, may be . I totally forgot about that. Btw the idle temperature was about 39C and full load 80-81C. I know it is not that great (it is the same with reference gtx 760). But here in India cards from asus and gigabyte cost about 4k - 5k more
