What's normal? This is the ASUS DCU2 card. It peaks at around 75 degrees when maxing out games at the highest settings (Such as Crysis 3 and BF4 beta). I plan on getting another case fan, will that make a difference or not? Is 75 degrees safe? The temperature is about 40-45 degrees idle. Thanks in advance.

Depends on what your room ambient temperature is, where the computer is sitting (crowded by things, covering a vent, ect.) 75 is a safe temperature, though it is not the best. Maybe what you're aiming for is about 10 degrees cooler. A case fan will help depending where it is located, maybe a side intake would help you.

It'd be at the back, just behind the graphics card. Do you think that it'd make a difference? My room is rather hot, this may be a reason.

At the back as an exhaust or an intake wouldn't do much. Try cleaning out the PC with some computer duster and getting it's intake near a vent in your room if you really want the best temps. otherwise, if you have a hot room, those temps are totally normal. I get similar on my 7950 in my overly heated room. I just drop the fan speed so it's not an issue with noise, as long as it's under 80 I'm happy. Odds are the card has warranty and it can be replaced if something happens.
