So i just installed new hardware,. upgrade from AMd quadcore on gigabyte board,. to 3770k on asRock board.

So since the hardware has changed, windows won't boot. People have basically been saying the only was to fix this is to wipe my hard drive and start again.

Is there any other way?

When changing the hardware, and using the same drive with the same install....sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You've found one of the latter.

Not unexpected with completely different architecture. (AMD vs Intel)
