CF 7870 or replace with new card?

Hey guys, I'm currently using the 7870 and love the card, also heard about the new AMD cards coming out. I was wondering if It would be better to get another 7870 since the price dropped and crossfire it or get the new card when that comes out? Keep in mind I'll only be able to afford 300 at the max, so it would probably be in the middle tier of the launched cards. Thanks!

That's what I'd say wait a couple weeks look at the benchmarks and do a price/performance ratio. Also take into consideration you will likely sell your 7870 if you get a new card so factor that into the equation

Yeah that's what I've heard, but with the price point of the R9 290x being around 600 or so, I wouldn't be able to afford it. If anything I'd be able to get something probably closer to the middle of the tier of cards. I could either spend 300 on the new card, or about 175 for another 7870 and crossfire. Guess I'll just have to wait and see benchmarks! haha
