yesterday i turned on my computer and i noticed that my external hard drive(seagate 1tb backup plus portable drive (6-8 month old)) was blinking. i didn't do any thing .today i realize that there is no icon for it in my computer and disk management doesn't show it and windows doesn't recognize it at all. i reconnect it for several times but it doesn't work.
when i connect it to my computer there is no spinning at all and there is beeping sound for about 7-9 sec then it stops beeping and starts blinking.i have personal data on it so i can't trust anyone to fix it.
i don't have another cable to see if problem remains.i tested usb port with my mobile.it perfectly worked with it.i am very sad right now cuz i have 600 gb of important information
