I used AI Suite II to overclock my FX-6300 to 4.0ghz and Sapphire Trixx to overclock my 7870xt from 975mhz to 1100mhz. I have previously had an issue with my wireless network adapter that went away after undoing a previous overclocking of my CPU. Could an issue with my WNA cause my overclocking to be unstable?

It depends on how you were overclocking your FX6300.

Overclocking your FX6300 by Increasing the multiplier does not have negative effects except for increasing the CPUs load temperature.

Overclocking your FX6300 by increasing the FSB or Base Clock does have negative effects that have to be accounted for, because that type of overclock is overclocking the rest of the motherboard which could affect your WNA.

Overclocking your FX6300 using a combination of both base clock and multiplier could definitely be a problem, it's not an unsolvable problem, but one that will take a lot of overclocking skill to master.

If you truly want to overclock without problems it's best done manually instead of using AI Suite II, there are plenty of overclock guides you can Google to help you.
