Hi there,
Just bought a new headset, which apparently uses a combo-jack, and have tried both the headphones and mic ports on the front of my PC, and the headphone, mic and line in jacks on the back, which are built onto the motherboard.
Managed to get sound only out at one point, but now after having updated all my drivers for everything, plugged into the mic jack on the back of my PC the actual headphones themselves (the parts you normally put on your ears to hear from) are taking my voice in as the mic, whilst the mic part still doesn't work. Audio out the the speakers.
Now... how/what/why on earth can this be solved? Running Windows 7, 64-bit, all drivers up to date. Intel DH57DD mobo.
Thanks!
