i7 4770k vs Any i5 for gaming

I am building a PC after a very long time "in the sticks".
I'm going to use the MSI Z87 MPower Max Motherboard and would like advice on a CPU
I am currently looking at an i7 4770k but would any i5's be as good a choice based on the cheaper price?
I will be using the setup for high end gaming only.

In most games, the speed will be close to a i7 and a i5. Only certain games will see a benefit with a i7. Most games will stress the video card more than the cpu.

Even if you extrapolate a linear increase of 8% forward to haswell i5's (which probably won't translate exactly) you end up with 58.32 FPS and a lower minimum FPS.

Not worth it, BF4 will use 6-7 cores effectively based on the core usage numbers I have seen...
