I am upgrading my CPU from a FX 4170 to a FX 8320. I currently use a MSI 760GM-P21 mobo, will I need to upgrade this aswell?

I am wish to upgrade my CPU from a FX 4170 to a FX 8320. I currently use a MSI 760GM-P21 motherboard (http://goo.gl/p1TQeo), will I need to upgrade this as well should I go through with the stated CPU upgrade?

I have no intention of overclocking.

I also have a Corsair H80 water cooler so overheating should not be a problem.

Looks like it - Seems that model of mobo supports max of 95w cpu's. FX-8300 is a 95w part however & is on the compatibility list. You may need to update bios before installing.
