Can I run a gtx 560 and a gtx 770 at the same time?

I'm not talking about SLI, but is it possible to have two cards running? If so how does it work? Do you have one hooked into one monitor and one in the other? I also was reading something about using a card simply as a physX slave. What are the benefits to that?

You could use the 560 as a dedicated PhysX card and the 770 as your main GPU

You can use the 560 as a Physx only card, however I tried that when I got my 770 just to try it out, got no better performance, and extra heat. The 770 is fine by itself.

Yah I used Borderlands 2, and Arkham City to try it out, Using HWinfo64 and MSI OSD I got the same frame rates, and the Temp of the 770 ran about 2 or 3 degrees hotter Im assuming since its the top card. There may be a small increase in Benchmark tests, but I didn't notice any advantage in a real world gaming situation. I'd assume there would be bigger increase if the main GPU was weaker, but the 770 is a really good card.

You had the 770 facing the 560? And your sure you had it set up right? Should of helped out in games that use that, but yeah sell your 560 and get a better main card
