No internet access

I keep getting no internet access about once every 2 weeks for my desktop and only the desktop

I use the on board networking card on my motherboard MSI B85--G41
OS is Windows 8 64 bit
Router is Netgear N300

When you get that message, do an ipconfig /all command at a dos prompt and note the results here.

Also check the network port lights and see if they are on when this happens. Make sure the cable is tight at both ends, maybe replace it.
