Okay guys I NEED HELP!!!
So I am selling my rig right now for around $1500 dollars and have a few hundred extra I can spend looking at a budget from $1500-1700.
My new rig is going to be straight gaming while streaming/recording or both at same time w/ my capture card. (1080p/30fps) or (720p/60fps) for youtube and twitch.tv.
Now on that note, should I buy a 4770k, 3930k or 4930k.
I have the money to buy a 4770k and a gtx 780(3gb superclocked), 16gb ddr3, and a Asus atx board for my bitfenix prodigy m.
Though should I buy a six core processor, for the games like battlefield and for rendering videos/streaming better, and maybe a Gtx 770 2gb? and save up in a couple months or a year and buy another 770 for SLI?
There's no difference really in the 3930k or 4930k that ive seen, other than the stock clocks, but 3930k is a bit better for overclocking than 4930k.

So with my money what would be best? I feel the 3930k/4930k would be best here with a gtx 770 and then If I feel (which i SHOULD NOT) upgrade to another 770 for SLI?

Any help is very appreciated!! and any cooler idea's for CPU? I was thinking the H80i cause that can fit in the Bitfenix Prodigy M (which comes out 10/2/13 and allows the space for 2 video card from having space for atx board! thanks guys!

I believe the single core performance is just worse on the 3930 vs the 4770 etc but not to far off. The raw performance of the 3930 would still be higher but in most cases never be utilized and the single core performance gain may be better for gaming but still not really noticible gains.

Id say depending if you want to do triple monitors for gaming youll need more than 2gb of vram so either 770 4gbs or a 780 3gb or even 2 7970s haha

okay thanks for the help, i think im set on the 4930k or 3930k and a gtx 770, cause the gtx 780 is $200-250 more and i dont think the peformance is worth that much so i think ill buy the hex core processors as they will help me tremendously in streaming/recording and rendering videos!! And if i feel my fps is too low, ill have 250 dollars to start saving up to SLI 770's!
