I recently bought a passive displayport to hdmi cable so that I can connect my computer to my HDTV. The video is working fine but the sound isn't going through the TV speakers. All I have under playback devices is my AMD High Definition Audio Device which goes through my HP monitor and realtek digital outputs which don't seem to work.

Edit: Forgot to mention that when I first connected the cable, a HDMI-to-DVI notification comes up which is strange since I'm using a displayport to hdmi cable. CCC also says that audio isn't supported when I try to enable it for my hdtv and when I turn off my main display and only try to go through the HDTV connected with the displayport to hdmi cable I can't activate any of the things under sound>playback devices.
