I just set up my first build and EVERYTHING is working great except for the fact that it always boots directly to BIOS whenever I start the computer. I have a MAXIMUS VI Formula and I'm running Windows 7.

Is there something I have to setup in the boot menu to get it to start up normally? ANY and ALL help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

check that the cmos jumper set right. if it set wrong the bios wont hold. check that the cmos battery is seated right. asus mb go into the bios if your keyboard has stuck del key or stuck keyboard key. have you go in and hit factory default and save it to see if you set something wrong??

No, it goes to a screen that says "Please hit F2 or DEL to enter bios" If I don't press anything it goes straight to another screen that say s"Press F1 to Run Setup" Then I hit F1 and it goes to BIOS. IT DOES say CPU fan Error, but the weird thing is that my CPU fan is actually running. What else could it be?

The cpu fan, are you plugged into CPU pins or CPU (opt) pins? Make sure you are not offset with the plug and all 4 pins are actually connected.
So you hit F1 & then hit load optimized default & save. The next time you start, same thing?

What BOIS version # ? on the set-up screen.
