Hp 500 A60

Hello this is my first post and i want to say yes i did use the search feature first. anyway i have this hp 500 a60 desktop. i have ordered a gpu to put in here but i have some problems. first the specs state that it has a mini pci.... i did not know this until after i purchased the card. secong it has an external powersupply 64w... am i doomed or is there hope?

Yes, you're doomed. Cancel the order or simply do not accept it when it arrives. You have no expansion slots for a graphics card.

It doesnt look like you can fit the GPU in there anyway, there is no slot.

Is it possible i can just put a new motherboard in that hp 500 case? with the a6 5200 processor and put the gpu in there?

No. Per the specs of the system you provided, the CPU doesn't sit in a normal socket. It's soldered to the motherboard.

Its soldered to the motherboard?

Just looked at it, and it definitely is. That or the heatsink is stupidly small.

I guess it would make a good media center.

I would recommend looking at a new computer.
