So yeah I'm 14 and new to the process of getting a replaced graphics card as my current GPU [GTX 660] Broke after using the 320.18 drivers and is no longer usable. So now I need a new one.

So I got this card back in May and it's been fine until now. The card isn't detectable by the computer and my computer can't boot whenever it is inserted inside the motherboard.

Now all I want to know is what do I need to get it replaced. I have the card, the box it came in.. I'm currently looking for the receipt..

Secondly, My brother suggested to do an RMA? Now I'm confused on what an RMA is and how to 'do' an RMA. What is needed for it?

Thanks and any advice is appreciated.

To do an RMA you go to the makers website and go to support. Once you confirm the issue with them, they will open up a ticket with you to which you will mail them your faulty card, and then some time later, usually no later than 2 weeks you have a brand new (Most of the time) card at your doorstop. All for just the cost of shipping. Its under warranty.

Have you tried clearing the motherboard CMOS? Tried running the card in another system?

RMA is usually done through the store you bought it from, most of the time its the easiest way, but you can do it through the manufacturer too.

a return material authorization with any vendor is easy. first go to the vendor web page then go under support then returns. click on there link and a short form will pop up.
it ask for the card serial number and model info. the date you bought the card and from where sometimes will be there. it ask for your email and phone number. when you hit submit after a few days in your email will be a rma number and info to where to ship the card back.
you have a set amount of time to get the card back to the rma dept for the exchange.
send the card with insurance and use ups so you can track it. on the outside of the ups lable put the rma number on it and put the rma sheet in the box with the card. all you need to do is put the old card into the anti static bag it came in. the shipper going to pack the card for you. on your rig have you tried clearing the cmos and updating your bios on the mb to rule out a bios bug?? does the card work in another pc. i say this be cuase i dont want you sending a good card back when it a power or mb issue.
