Will this PC handle a gtx 760?

Hey there, my pc's specs currently are:
AMD FX4100 quad core @ 3.6ghz (Not oc'd)
8gb ram
gx 550w 80+ bronze cooler master PSU
And i'm currently using a 7770HD gfx card.
I was wondering, How badly would a gtx 760 get bottlenecked by the rest of my PC? Thanks in advance - Sam.

likely not as most games are GPU intensive, but I would recommend getting a FX-8000 Series

Sorry, what do you mean? I'm looking at upgrading the GPU.. therefore i don't know what you mean by that XD

If anything your processor will slightly bottleneck your new GPU, but it would be slight, I was saying perhaps you should look into upgrading your CPU to a FX-8000 Series sometime in the near future.

Yeah, I'll eventually upgrade my processor but i don't have enough money at the moment, but do you think that GPU would cause any problems with my PC? or should it be fine?

While the CPU might not be able to keep up with the GPU at the same level an 8350 would, you shouldn't see a large difference in quality. It would be one of those things where you upgrade to the 8350 and you're like "Whoa, this looks better. I don't know why, but it looks better." That's how slight the change would be.

Summary: You will be fine.

Cheers, i heard that a 600w PSU would be safer but that a 550w can run it, is that true?

recommended is 500, you have 550, you should be fine, but if you wanted to do major OC'ing you'd need to upgrade your PSU

Sadly i live in new zealand and i don't think newegg ships to anywhere but US/canada, but i'll look around local shops for something like that, thanks to everyone for the help

Alternitavely i could get a sapphire vapor-x 7950 for roughly the same price, maybe a little bit less than a 760 if that would be a better option

Also, the 7950 in the store near me has 3gb video memory as opposed to the 2gb of the 760

I look at it this way, that 7950 is proabably the best 7950 made, higher memory bandwidth, 3GB GDDR5 vs 2GB(760), very similar performance aside from games optimized for one company or the other(and the difference there is usually small), and I have a feeling a lot more games will be AMD optimized since both next-gen consoles use AMD, not to mention their PC architecture meaning games can now be developed side by side with consoles and PC's. Meaning no more crappy ports, thank God. And meaning a good chance for a lot more AMD optimized games, there are a lot now even. So yes I would say definitely get the 7950 Vapor-X
