FOR EDITING AND 3D ANIMATION ONLY!

I have previously asked the same question with...

Zotac GTX 660 Ti 2GB vs. Radeom HD 7870

and someone suggested HD 7970 and i thought it was a good advice, the whole ratings got me. But. later on, i found out neither 3DS Max not Adobe Creative software support ATI cards. So here are my choices, which one should i buy? I have very tight budget, so no other nVidia card is an option anymore?

Any advice or information will be welcomed.

Thank you.

the 760 is slightly faster than the 660 ti. If the prices are the same, go with the 760.

If you can wait, Nvidia's prices will be dropping in the next few weeks in response to the new AMD lineup.

AMD Radeon 7000 series GPU are supported on the latest versions of the above mentioned programs. All you have to do is download the latest GPU driver from AMD and use it. Its a thing of the past that AMD GPUs have poor support among 3D animation and graphics suite. For non gaming build HD7870 is sufficient or else go with a HD7950 or HD7970.

I have heard about that too, but Adobe site clearly specifies, nVidia cards, in fact, very few of them. Can you post any such link or comparison chart that show head to head performance benchmark between nvidia vs Radeon cards, i can't find any.

Go with 760 all the way. I have an MSI 760 TF and it is flawless.
