Im just here to ask opinion on 'AMD FX 4130 Black Edition' versus 'AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition'

The FX clocks at 3,8 where as the Phenom clocks at 3,2. I know from another machine of mine, that the Phenom is 100% stable with stock cooler @ 3,6 (Has been stresstested over long time)

Price is about the same, atleast here in Denmark. The rig will be used for gaming.

No bigger difference in performance i suspect, what do you guys think?

I would go for the 4300 or 4350 if the budget would allow me.
But in this case, um, 4130. The fx series will consume less power and is the newer one so your best bet.
Overclocking wise, both oc really good so it's up to you

No shizzle Sherlock, however I thought the point in forums like these were to get more opinions and knowledge that maybe, I missed :)




Thank you for your input. Knowing now the FX series is newer, I think that will be the choice :)
