I've been looking all over the internet for this driver.

After switching the laptop to airplane mode the WiFi adapter decided to stop working. tried multiple times to diagnose the problem using windows, tried switching to airplane mode on and off and nothing fixed the problem, although the Ethernet adapter works perfectly, tried installing other drivers and none worked, can anyone give me a hand finding the correct working driver.

Thank you ahead of time!

Occasionally when engaging Airplane Mode in systems with multiple wireless networking devices, the ability to enable or disable the device can be lost. To verify that the operating system is able to see the wireless device, right click in the lower left corner of the screen, where the Start Screen would be launched, and select Device Manager from the list of administrative tools. Under the Network Adapters category an Atheros Wireless LAN device should be listed. If it is disabled (denoted by a down arrow), right click and select enable.

If it is not listed or otherwise drivers are required, they are provided by Acer here. There is also a device, Dritek RF Button, which you may want to install first as this is the button which enables and disables the wireless card inside the system. Install this if the card does not appear at all in the Device Manager list. You can also try the Fn+F3 key combination which enables and disables the system’s wireless devices.
