Motherboard: GA-H55M USB3 motherboard

Hello.

A friend asked me look at their computer, and having trouble figuring what which hardware is dying. They told me it was randomly restarting so I started it up and started getting motherboard waning beeps (though not right away and I wasn't informed of any earlier). I quickly turned it off, but unfortunately didn't keep track of what the beeps were (It was 1 long beep followed by short beeps, looking at codes later I think it was complaining about the keyboard or BIOS ROM error).

anyways after I got the motherboard manual I turned it back on and this time it was giving me 1 long continuous beep which the manual says means the graphics card is inserted incorrectly. This was not the same beep I got the first time. Once again I tried turning on and off and got the same beep code.

So I removed the graphics card and stopped getting beeps (beyond the all systems good one), but the computer is still restarting most of them time before getting to windows (seems to happen randomly between 2-5min). I've removed the battery to reset the BIOS and tried running with just 1 of the ram sticks (and trying the different slots) with no change. I also put the videocard back in and the system still doesn't give me any error beeps. Finally I tried running with no memory and got the correct beep code.

I don't have extra hardware to really swap components to see what the problem one is. Any ideas?
