Hi guys.
I purchased 2 Crucial Ballistix Sport Modules. 4gb each. Both are identical.

I installed them on their Alternate dimm slots. All slots are black in color. Motherboard is a GA-990FXA-UD3.

In Amd Overdrive it shows Dual Channel

But in CPU-Z it's single channel.

there are two different ways you can put your ram in for dual channel slots 1&3 or 2&4

if one is not working try the other way

CPU-Z sometimes misreads the DRAM and dual channel, particularly in AMD...do you have ver 1.66.1
