I want to use Ubuntu as my main operating system, (Basically I want to see Ubuntu like it is the only operating system on my PC).
But, being a hardcore gamer my wish is to be able to play all the windows only games. My question is, can I basically run windows in the background but and launch all my games and stuff from Ubuntu, but they use the background windows 7 to run. I am not foreign to coding, and am willing to mess around with the code. I just want it to seem like I am using Ubuntu yet all my programs run off of windows 7.

Solution
If you want to run the two OS's at the same time you need a program like Vitural Box or VMWare. Only thing is you can't game in it. You can dual boot where you have 2 OS's on different hard drives but if you want to switch you have to restart the PC and select the OS you want to use.
