That is VRAM or the video ram built into the card.

The other poster above did not factor AGP into his GT 640 / HD 6670 recommendations. Neither card is available in AGP.

Not a single card newegg has in AGP is suitable for gaming. The HD 4350 is the best of the bunch and is probably fine for Flash type, browser based games but don't expect much 3d performance from it. Games older than 2004 will run pretty well. The 4350 is actually very comparable with the integrated 6310 graphics in my cheap laptop. It can handle Civ IV and Morrowind decently. I have 4GB of RAM in my laptop though.

Thank you, both posts extremely helpful. Noob question...when card specifies ddr or ddr2 ect. does this apply to system ram or is this a ram built into the card?

Ok, so doesnt matter if card name includes ddr2 if my mobo uses ddr.
Morrowind is one of the games im trying to run better. Surprisingly my eForce4 MX 440 runs morrowind and 30+ mods including hi res textures overhaul pretty well without shadows and water reflection turned on but I would like to try mge xe which requires pixel shader 3.0 i think, and I know alot of games around 2005 and up require ps 2.0.
Thanks again for your help.
