I was planning on getting a liquid cooling system for my factory overclocked AMD Black Edition 750K Quad Core Processor running at 4.02Ghz but since I'm not a hardcore gamer, my friend recommended me to get a heatsink/fan instead which would cost significantly less and is easier to install.

My motherboard is a MSI FM2-A55M-E33 uATX

I am not looking to spend too much and would love to keep it below £30

Any recommendations?

I just youtube'd how to install the fan but I couldn't help but notice how big the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO was!
My MOBO an PC case are extremely small and the space reserved for the CPU is quite small as well..
Will I be able to fit the 212 without any problems?

Should fit into *most* ATX Mid Tower cases, which is what you have. You should check the clearance from your CPU to the top of the case and see how much room you have compared to how tall the 212 EVO is. If you wanted to go to a slightly smaller cooler, the Zalman CNPS 9500 or 9700 would be a bit smaller, the 9500 could likely be found in your price range.

Your case has width of 185 mm. The evo has height of 159 mm. That leaves 2.5 (+/-1 marginal) cm for the motherboard tray and the mb itself. I think it is going to barely fit or will touch the side panel slightly, but don't trust me 100% on that. Nowhere did I found the max cpu cooler height in the case specification and I have been googling for half an hour.
