After new power supply computer won't boot

I just recently got a new graphics card, and my power supply didn't have enough power to give. Then i bought a cheap logisys 575w power supply to hold me off until i buy a new computer. After i installed the power supply there was no beep and the fans ran really high. The computer wouldn't boot. Could anyone help?

  1. sounds silly... but did you plug in everything?
the motherboard would have a 24pin... AND a 4/8 pin up near the CPU
  2. Return the Logisys. It has the specs of a 300-350watt PSU and is the worst on the market! What card did you buy so we can recommend a replacement?

Yes i did plug everything in. Also, it isn't the power supply because i plug the original PSU in and it did the same thing. It has done this before, but I let it sit for4 a week and it just started working again.
  4. I don't have the card plugged in atm.
