Before I write my problem, here are my specs:
MB: ASUS P8-Z77-V Deluxe
CPU: i7-3770K 3.50GHz with stock cooler (Not overclocked)
Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance (Not overclocked)
GPU: GTX 680 (Not overclocked)
Power: 1050W HX
Storage: 1x120GB (For windows and basic programs) 1x240GB (For games mostly)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Now to the problem:
I was just wondering what would happen if i upgraded from one GTX 680 to two GTX 780's? Would my CPU be driven to the MAX and maybe overheat? Or will it drag down the performance of those two 780's? Would i have to upgrade it with a new cooler, and get someone to OC it to a good point?
And im quite certain that the power would be no problem, but would it?

No simple answer but really it depends on the resolution you are gaming at. If you are on a single 1080p monitor both cards would idle, if you are on extended resolution over 3 1080p monitors you are giving them something to do. Overclocking the CPU would probably increase performance.
Your PSU is plenty for the setup.

For purely longevity perspective, I would get some kind of aftermarket cooling for the CPU, lots of good options starting from about $30 that will let you get at least a 4GHz overclock easily.
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO being one of them.

That being said, overclocking your CPU probably would help framerates in some cases, but generally it should do well even if you are not overclocking it feeding stuff to the two gtx 780's.

In any case you need to be running at least 2560x1440 to get much benefit from the GTX780 setup. The GTX680 pretty much still kills stuff at 1080p.

I have two monitors being 1920x1080. But what about adding another GTX 680 instead, and buying a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, and OC'ing the CPU to 4.0 GHz?

I would invest in a 2560x1440 display and ditch the two 1080p's and SLI a second 680.

You can get "cheaper" Korean 2560x1440 screens for about 300$ on ebay. I got a Crossover Q27 myself.

option A:300$ Display + 450$ GTX 680 = 750$
option B: 650$ GTX x 2 = 1300$.

I can GUARANTEE that option A looks better. If you want to game at 1080p x 2 then maybe just add a second 680 but you definetly DO NOT need 2 780's at 1080p resolution, I would argue that your single 680 is enough even for your current resolution.

I already own 1 GTX 680 btw. And one GTX 680 ain't enough for me. I cant run BF3 on highest settings, only on some maps, Far Cry 3 can i only run on high. Batman: Arkham City only runs without any AA. Now with next gen games, im gonna need some heavy power :p Plus i live in Denmark and everything here is a lot more expensive. A GTX 680 costs 550$ :(

I know you already own one 680. That's why i was recommending ADDING A SECOND 680 in SLI. I have not included the price of the first 680 because you already own it.

680's in SLI can handle pretty much anything at 1440p. Also remember that 1440p on medium setting looks MUCH better than 1080p on Ultra settings

Here are some 680 x 2 SLI benchmarks taken at 2560 x 1440 from the recent GTX 780 review on Tomshardware.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-780-per...

BF3 ULTRA: 100FPS
Crysis 3 Very high system specs, MSAA:low, High texture: 45 FPS
FarCry3 Ultra 4xMSAA: 55 FPS
Skyrim Ultra FXAA: 95 FPS

So you might have to turn one or two things down but otherwise should be fine for the upcoming future. Most of my friends who have seen any game at 1440p immediately went out and bought the same screen hehehe.

If a 680x 2 SLI can run BF3 on ultra at 2560 x 1440 with 100 FPS and your current single 680 cannot run BF3 on ultra there might be something wrong with your setup. You might want to upgrade drivers or something. From the 680 review here on TomsHardware the GTX 680 ran BF3 on ultra at 109FPS and 77FPS with no MSAA and 4x MSAA respectively.

Well I can't afford that screen, because it easily costs around 450$ here in Denmark, så that wont be an option. But about my GTX 680 I've always been knowing that something was wrong, since everyone elses 680 ran better than me, but i kinda just lived with it... :( Now that you just told me that its a bit of a problem , I'll look further into it regarding drivers and such. But right now, i think I'll go for another 680 and a Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 ( i think that's what its called), and TRY to OC my CPU myself. It should apparently be pretty easy with my motherboard. I might OC my graphic cards too :p But with my current setup (my ram, cpu and such) I should be able to run BF3 on highest settings right?

Wait let me make sure.

When you are gaming you are using a single screen correct? I really dont know anyone who games on two screen because of the split right in the middle... its one or 3. If you are gaming on a single 1080p then definetly you should be able to run games BF3 at max. If you ARE gaming on both screens (kinda weird i think) then maybe that is why you are seeing lower FPS.
