So here's the issue. I recently found an old monitor in my basement and decide to try and hook it up to my pc. I don't have a VGA on my video card so I plugged it into the motherboard VGA. Windows didn't recognize it so I tried to force show the the desktop on monitor 2. This ended up failing so I have one monitor that works. Every time in boot it up I see the ASrrock start screen and then the starting windows, but after that my monitor loses signal. I have tried going into safe mode and uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and it works without the driver kinda. As you can imagine it can't load a lot of things and other such problems. Whenever I reinstall the drive it has the same issue. I can only get into the computer by using safe mode and I can't see anything other than that unless I'm in my BIOS. Please help. thanks. Also I have a Radeon hd 7950 with as rock mobo

The onboard video will not work when you have a plugin GPU.

If you ATI card should have DVI outputs, use a converter to give you a VGA output, normally get one in the box.

Ok thanks, my GPU didn't come with a converter so I'll go pick one up. Just t make sure this is what you are talking about? http://www.microcenter.com/product/317197/DVI_Male_to_V...

You need to go in to the ATI control panel and setup the screen to either mirrored or extended desktop.

So I have already selected that. Here is what I have when I Ctrl-print screen. http://i.imgur.com/5L2pUxf.png?1
All other desktop crap aside, why does my monitor say, "In Power Save Mode. Press Any Key on Keyboard or Move Mouse"

You need to click on Monitor 2 from the second pic, and then check Extend my desktop or Mirror, then Apply. Something should show up because it is detecting the display.

I have. Here is the picture after I clicked on the second one and at the bottom "Extend Display" was already checked.
