I have one Samsung SSD 120 gb and one WD black 640gb. I just installed a new SSD 250gb, Samsung, today and it still shows I only have two drives. the 120gb and WD. How do I get my computer to read the new SSD? the 120gb has my OS on it and 640gb is storage as of right now.

check that the ssd the new one on an intel sata port if it on a third party sata port you may need to turn it on in the bios. some hard drive have to be formated or given as drive letter under windows disk mangement.

OKay realized the sata cable wasnt plugged in all the way. So my BIOS sees the SSD and and all my other ones, but my OS is still not picking up the new one. Still says I have two drives.
