Hey I am getting a new PC as a gift,
my old one fried after about three years so my mother (of whom is "buying") so she said, sent me this:

Dual Core Processor
4GB Ram, and 1TB Hard Drive
DVD burner
Windows 8
20" wide HD screen
Integrated graphics
HP/Compaq Brand

now i play WoW and pretty much want a PC for that reason, so i was wondering if that desktop will do the job?

Cheers

sorry but I wouldn't buy from that website.

just writing "dual core processor" is very vague. its like going to buy a car and one of its features is "engine" as opposed to something like "6 cylinder 300hp direct injection engine."

they are most likely selling a very old dual core pc which is worth about $200, for $1300 ($25 x 52weeks).

its best to see if you can get a desktop from your nearest electronics store; and if its new model, it will run WoW easily.

I second what ocz said.

No dual-core PC is worth $1000 and it certainly won't give you particularly good gaming performance. Many prebuilt systems come with only one DIMM which would also cut RAM bandwidth available for the IGP in half.

The advertisement does not even provide a model number so we can check the system's actual specs, which ranks as extremely suspicious in my book.
