I have the Toshiba Satellite A505-S6033 notebook computer. On the product page on Toshiba's website, it indicates that the laptop came with "4GB DDR3 1600MHz memory". Well, a few years back one of the 2GB sticks broke, so I replaced it with a Kingston RAM sticks (I don't remember the specs for it). Right now CPU-Z is telling me that the DRAM frequency is 533MHz, and that the maximum bandwidth on both of the RAM sticks is 533MHz. I'm not sure what's going on here. I heard about "dual channels", so maybe it's really running at 1066MHz? But why does Toshiba's website indicate 1600MHz?
