i am making a computor and i am wondering if my motherboard that is dual channel support 16 gb of ram in 4 sticks

It should support, as every RAM slot supports minimum of 4GB mostly, so in your dual channel it should be like 2x(2x4GB)=16GB as minimum or maximum. (I guest you have a standard motherboard in this regard)

Check the specification of your motherboard's carton and manual. The maximum RAM should be written in the carton and in the manual too.

However, if you mention your motherboard's brand and model number, it would have been easy to answer you in proper manner.
