I have large video files (around 10gb) that I need to move from external drives to internal drives and vice versa. I currently have 2tb Seagate externals connected via USB 3.0 that transfer my files in around 60 seconds to my internal SSD's. I need to upgrade my externals to 4tb and I need lots of speed but, of course, cost is a factor. I am running a brand new PC build with Windows 7 that is decked out with the latest and greatest. I figure around a couple hundred dollars is my price range more or less. So what do you think my options are for maximum speed large file transfer rate on an external drive?
