CPU upgrade for Flight Simulator X

Hello Community,
I want to upgrade my fx6300 cpu to a 8350. Should I? And will my psu support it? Here are my specs.

CPU:FX 6300
Graphics Card: Gigabyte 650ti 2gb OC
RAM: Kingston 16 gb RAM
Motherboard:M5A78L-M LX V2
PSU: 500 watt

Stock, I would sometimes turbo boost it with asus's motherboard but not always.

overclock it (through the uefi bios on the startup page) there should be a optimized overclock you cna choose where it overclocks itself (safely) should be 3 buttons. 1 is energy save, 2 is normal, 3 is overclock, try a overclock first and test it before buying a new cpu.
