Hello, I'm looking to build a new system that would be able to play "Next" generation while streaming/recording. I have built pc in the past but never really got which part I should be getting, and my normally I use the government method of funding (aka throw excessive money at it) while only making sure some basic compatibility. But this time I'm looking for bit more balanced approach and looking to get more performance for my dollar, rather than select expensive parts because they're expensive and hope for the best.
Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: This Sunday
Budget Range: $3,500 USD before rebates and after shipping.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, streaming and small video edits from the stream, and Blue Ray movies. Also taking computer programing in hopes of game development (but long way from that).
Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Do you need to buy OS: Looking for Windows 7 (will not buy Windows 8), and maybe get steam os as dual boot later.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com
Location: City, State/Region, Country: USA (I won't be making in store purchases)
Parts Preferences: Intel
Overclocking: Unlikely (I always said to myself I would try but never got around to it after 4 builds)
SLI or Crossfire: Yes
Your Monitor Resolution: At least full HD.
Additional Comments: None I can think of.
