computer power down after 3 to 8 hours of use then wont boot for hours

My PC crashes (powers down), i can turn it back on but only stays on for a few minutes/seconds depending on how long i left it off for. If I leave it off overnight, then it restarts and works just fine, for 3 to 8 hours.

i have i7 3.4, GTX 680,32 GB GSkill ram, 750 80+silver PSU

have you checked the tempature on the cpu? what is it after a few hours?

What are your temps? Also I've see PSU's do this if their fan dies, the psu itself can overheat.

yes all temps (GPU, CPU, MB) all normal

First guess would be your PSU is failing.

Temps are MB/30 CPU/45 GPU/55 theas temp were take 10 seconds ish after crash

well what psu is it? also if you have some skill with a soldering iron you might be able to fix it
