Replacing GPU, what do I need to do?

I am replacing my EVGA 550 TI with a MSI GTX 770, what all do I need to do to prep my system? Do I need to remove all drivers and software associated with my old card?

Any other advice or something common I may miss?

In device manager delete/remove card which will delete drivers, shut down, replace card, power up now displaying on Windows default VGA driver and install the drivers for the new card.
