Hi all, i had an asus full hd laptop before. I bought a full hd monitor and started to use it instead of default laptop screen. Now i built a case recently, and using it with same monitor. Here is the problem, i can not use my monitor in full hd with new high end built case. When i set screen to full hd, left quarter of screen is not displaying, size does not fit; i mean startup menu side is out of monitor, not displaying doesnt mean black screen etc. I tried to set it in Nvidia settings and windows settings but, nope couldnt find anything. Thanks.

Make sure the new monitor is the primary monitor at Desktop>Properties. Adjust the screen resolution from there to the native resolution of the monitor to prevent the disproportional settings probably left at your laptop's monitor's resolution. Your laptop should NOT be displaying any image if you connected it properly, and it should only do that if you set to use them both.
