Hi there,

I was going to get the GT680 from amazon (606 dollars), they said that will be release or in stock at the 4th of October, looked at it today and apparently has already been released but 80 dollars expensier. Amazon suggested the GT770 that it's cheaper but better (509 dollars). I don't know.

What should I get? Which is better?

Believe it or not, the GTX 770 is actually better than the GTX 680 in most aspects. The difference in performance isn't too considerable, but the price range is. The GTX 770 is a much smarter buy in pretty much every aspect.

UPDATE: In addition, consider saving even more money with this:

It's still 4 GB and it's still just barely a fraction lower on clock speed. It's not a significant decrease at all, and the performance will be just the same in real benchmarks. The only real trade off is a slightly inferior cooler, but we're talking a difference of 2 or 3 degrees here under load. I own the same model except in 2 GB and it serves me incredibly well.
