Hi basically i had a memory stick with old pictures and other files on it, one day i put it into my laptop and i think i must of knocked it whilst it was in the laptop that the silver bit of the stick moved, after this incident whenever i popped it into the laptop nothing would show up, (no memory stick icon) nothing in the removable storage folder on my computer.
I asked some guy who deals with laptops to have a look at it but he said he couldn't do it and it would cost money to fix (i'm willing to pay to retrieve the pictures as they are of sentimental value).
I'm just wondering whether the pictures can be retrieved from the memory stick and if so where could i take it to get fixed.
