So it's a brand new, and just about every game I try to play causes the driver to crash. Games like Eve, BF3 and mirrors edge, while it lets me play civ 4 fine and Starcraft 2 with no problems. I've already tried installing older drivers, any help will be appreciated.

specs:
windows 8
8gig sdram ddr3 (one stick)
Asus gtx 660 ti
AMD Zambezi 3.6 GHZ 8 core,

update: I removed all my graphics drives and Eve worked, though at very poor quality.

It might just be a Win8 issue. But try running CCleaner and have it do the Clean and Registry portions both. You may have some registry errors producing conflicts. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Another thing you can try is to un-install the gfx driver again and run Driver Sweeper from safe mode. Have it find and remove any AMD, ATI, and Nvidia GRAPHIC driver remnants it finds. Then re-boot and install the correct driver for your card and OS.
Get DS here: http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4266-driver-sweeper.h...
There are other links that will lead you to an inferior substitute.

Does the crash always show up as a gfx driver error? What other devices are running with your system? You might also try going to the card manufacturer's website and seeing if there is a new BIOS for the card. Some early cards have issues that are corrected in later versions of the card.
