When I mentioned QC was referring to if it would arrive alive, and last more than 60 days, I get more mobo problem calls on MSI mobos than any 2 other manufacturers put together (and as said, I don't even build on them, the calls are from (generally) referrals from my clients

Numerous OC and gaming sites are using MSI boards as their test beds.....if they were failing to any level outside the norm, I doubt you'd see all the awards and glowing reviews. These things are monitored by the trade press and MSI is no better no worse than say Asus

Enjoy ya new build. I have used both the G45 and GD-65 multiple times in recent builds and enjoyed the experience.
And don't worry about the OC....one of the reasons reviews are so good is it keeps topping the charts in OC .... the heavy duty mil spec components helped make the Sabertooth a great OC board and it's done the same for the MSI G45 and GD-65 but at a lower price point.
