Hi all,

I'm going to build a PC for the first time. I've spent a good amount of time reviewing and choosing components. Can the good people of the forum look over the list below and let me know their thoughts - is this a good build? are there any improvements for the same budget? have I missed any important components or included stuff not really needed?

CPU: i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core ($239.99)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM ($29.98)
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ($159.99)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 ($89.99)
SSD: Crucial M4 128GB 2.5" ($105.24)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB ($255.91)
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 ($84.50)
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650W 80+ Gold ATX12V/EPS12V ($79.99)
OS: Windows 8 64-bit ($90.87)
WIFI/BT: Gigabyte GC-WB300D Bluetooth 4.0/Wi-Fi Expansion Card ($29.75)
USB Expansion: NZXT IU01 Internal ($19.58)

Total: $1138.79

In addition to this I'm reusing optical drives & a 1TB HDD from my old PC.

So what do you think? Does this give good gaming performance for the money? Will I be able to play the latest games at high settings?

Thoughts & comments very much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I figured I needed a WiFi card as the motherboard doesn't have it built in. I wanted something that gave me WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity without need for dongles/adapters etc. Is that what this card does or have I misunderstood? :)

The USB extension card I probably don't need. It was just a case of the more ports the better!
