What parts should I upgrade to increase the emulation speed for my computer, my specs are;

Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

CPU
Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80GHz
Lynnfield 45nm Technology

RAM
4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. P55-UD3 (Socket 1156)

Graphics
VA1912w-3 (1440x900@60Hz)
ATI AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (ATI AIB)

I'm trying to Emulation Dolphin and PCSX2 with frame drops and low frame-rate occurring very often.

Thanks for looking,

Solution
depends on the emu, but with an I7, you should be kicking butt in any that run at full speed. There isn't much faster you can go. You could use a RAM boost maybe, might help in some thing, but emulation is what it is, emulation. Graphics cards don't make a big difference to them, it's all CPU bound and you have a good one still. Some just run good yet despite the hardware we have that is 1000x times faster than the machine your trying to emulate.
