I just built my new rig and everything is working fine, except I seem to be getting these crackling/hissing noises from my sound card (Xonar DGX Pci-e). These begin once windows starts loading, and some times become louder when I do certain tasks in windows.
I have tried using the onboard sound instead of the sound card but the noise remains.
I tried swapping the PC to a different mains but it made no difference.
I've installed the most recent drivers and placed the PC away from other electrical devices.
I am using the DGX in a standard PCI slot, as my graphics card takes over the x1 slot.
I don't know what more to try, could someone offer some advice as the static/crackling noise coming out is too loud to just ignore.
