I recently built a computer, and everything is running smoothly, but the rear case fan is not spinning. It doesn't even spin a bit at startup and then stop, it just won't spin. It is a 120 mm tricool fan from Antec, the fan that comes with the Antec Sonata iii 500 case. It is plugged into a Corsair tx-650 PSU. Help would be very appreciated.

1. Give it a lil push and see if ya can get it going.

2. try and different plug or fan header.

That's how I originally had it, but it didn't spin like that either, so I tried it in the PSU. Also the fan header is 4 pins and the Fan's plug is a 3 pin socket.

this is your fan http://www.antec.com/pdf/flyers/TriCool.pdf it got 3 or 4 pins connector the 3 pins connect to the motherboard header and a switch to low med and high speed ,if you could get a palin 3 pins fan without the switch .

3 pin fans work on 4 pin headers

Problem solved. I plugged it into the motherboard fan header and it works. Thanks a bunch!
