Installation: required cd/dvd drive device driver

There's been a lot of topics on this subject, but I'm completely stuck and feel like I've tried everything.

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R SE (7520) with the DVD/Blu-Ray combo. I wanted to reinstall windows, so I formatted the HDD and put in a Windows 7 disc which now gives that error.
I can't find the Dell CD, so that's useless.

Steps I've tried:
- Disabling AHCI in bios
- Downloading all possible SATA drivers from the Dell FTP for this model
- Googled my behind off to find the drivers for the DVD/BR drive (no success there)

If anyone knows anything else to try at this stage. I am unsure whether the missing driver is referring to a missing sata driver for the DVD/BR drive or any other hardware (although it does say drive device driver).

Is it possible the win 7 installation disc itself is corrupt?

Any help is appreciated!

Both times I have seen that (one recently) it was a bad DVD. Either a bad burn, or incomplete download and burn.

Maybe it's been on the shelf too long, I'll try redownloading an ISO and burning it to see if that works. Thanks man!
