I'm starting to have back problems and need a proper computer chair.
Problem is I have no idea what to look for really.

I'm 5'6 and 105 ibs. I noticed I tend to lean forward in my computer chair so the back rarely actually touches me. I do use armrests a lot though.

I'm thinking I may do something unusual like get a knee chair, the kind with no back at all and claim to be good for yours?

But since I never used one before I have my reservations. Cheaper is better but I want it to last and not need to buy another one.

its the leaning forward that kills your back most likely. well that combined with leaning on your elbows.

if you sit up straight and reduce the weight on your elbows you should show some improvement even with the current chair.

looking at the knee chair it looks like it would put pressure on your knees. not sure i like that.

an exercise ball or standing would work. it would essentially force better habits on you since you have nothing to lean on.
